Why Lake Forest Homes Benefit From a Custom Design
With generous lot sizes, long driveways, and mature landscaping, we typically design full-property displays rather than roofline-only — a lit approach from the street, an accented entry, and tree wrapping through the landscaping.
Properties near Market Square and the historic downtown benefit from a more refined, classic warm-white approach.
Long approaches designed as an intentional sequence from street to entry.
Historic architecture and estate-scale proportions guide every lighting choice.
Trees, landscaping, garland and wreaths designed as one composition.
Neighborhoods We Serve
Downtown Lake Forest / Market Square area | Estate District | Lake Forest lakefront properties
Downtown Lake Forest / Market Square
Historic downtown architecture and walkable streets call for a refined warm-white display with crisp rooflines, tailored wreaths and restrained entry details.
Estate District
Generous grounds, long approaches and architect-designed homes benefit from full-property lighting composed as one view from gate to front door.
Lake Forest Lakefront Properties
Mature landscaping and significant architecture near the lake deserve custom sightlines, balanced tree wrapping and entry decor scaled to the property.
Given the scale of many properties, we recommend booking your design consultation early in the fall.
Recommended Lighting for This Area
Long driveways get mini-light tree wrapping the full length of the approach, finished with garland on entry columns and a substantial custom wreath.
Full-Approach Tree Wrapping
Long driveways gain depth and ceremony with warm mini lights wrapped through mature trees for the full length of the approach.
Architectural Entry Garland
Custom evergreen garland follows substantial columns and entry architecture, creating a polished transition from the illuminated grounds to the front door.
Estate-Scale Custom Wreaths
A substantial custom wreath is designed to suit the scale, materials and symmetry of the home rather than disappearing against a grand facade.

Straight answers to the questions we hear most often in Lake Forest.
01How much does Christmas light installation cost in Lake Forest?+
Roofline-only displays start at $999. Roofline + landscape runs $999-$1,499, adding wreaths and garland runs $1,499-$2,499, and full-property "Biggest On The Block" designs start at $2,500. The exact price depends on your home's size, so we give you a firm quote after a free design consultation in Lake Forest. First-time customers get $250 off.
02What's included in your holiday lighting service?+
Everything: a custom design, commercial-grade lights, clips and timers (we supply it all, nothing for you to buy), professional installation, free maintenance calls all season, takedown after the holidays, and storage at our facility until next year.
03Do you design displays for Lake Forest homes of every size?+
Yes. Larger estates with long driveways, mature trees and formal entries are a specialty. We design the roofline, trees, bushes and wreaths as one display so the whole property looks finished, not pieced together.

Call or text us and we'll fix it, typically within 48 hours, at no charge. Maintenance calls are included all season, so you never have to climb a ladder.
05When should I book Christmas light installation in Lake Forest?+
As early as you can. Install dates fill up through November. Booking early locks in your install before Thanksgiving, and first-time customers get $250 off.
